Bath Time!

Premature Balding

In case you haven't noticed Caitlyn has been losing her hair. Poor girl! She was born with tons of dark hair and now we have this blonde baby :)

A few hours old

A few days old

One month old (super curly when wet)

4 months old (starting to look much lighter)

5 months and clearly falling out

6 months and only a little left in back and on top

7 months rocking the bald look. She actually has a white fuzz for hair.

7 1/2 months blond hair getting longer!

Fathers' Day

Eric had his first Father's Day and we hope he felt loved. We went to church and came home and made dinner...steak and lamb shanks at his request. Caitlyn got her dad a card and some new toothbrush heads for his electric toothbrush...oh yeah! :) We played with cousins and celebrated with apple pie and sparklers. Happy Father's Day Eric!

Nauvoo

In early June we took a road trip to Nauvoo, Illinois for a family reunion with the Scott family (Eric's mother's family). The drive was long and exhausting and we only stayed for a couple of days but it was worth it and we had a lot of fun. Caitlyn was so happy to spend time with her family and see Uncle Aaron again who flew in from Utah. She also got to meet a lot of great aunts and uncles and cousins and take in historical Nauvoo. I have been to Nauvoo a few times before with my family and LOVE it and am glad we were able to go again. Yay for family fun!

Some of our favorite things were attending the temple together as a family and taking a special tour. We got to go up to the top of the bell tower right under the statue of Angel Moroni and look out over the whole city. It must have been an amazing sight to see when the first temple was completed. We also loved the gunshop and the blacksmith shop. One of our favorite shows we saw was the Nauvoo brass band. When the trumpets and trombones played their first note of the first song Caitlyn jumped and let out some cries of fear but then she got used to it and danced along to the music. We had a lot of fun at the Walt Scott family talent show and enjoyed catching up with family from far away.
